Booking conditions

By making a booking, guests accept these booking conditions. They become legally binding once the reservation is confirmed (by post, fax, email, website). Provisional reservations will be held for seven days with no charge (up to 21 days before the date of arrival), and it is also possible to be added to a waiting list for no charge (up to 3 days before the date of arrival). For cancellations to a confirmed reservation, there is a handling fee of € 25 plus the following cancellation charges per room:

• 21 to 15 days before arrival: € 100
• 14 to 8 days before arrival: € 250
• 7 days or less before arrival: max. € 500

We recommend our cancellation cover for just € 15 (2011: € 22) per room. It comprehends cancellation charges (incl. the handling fee) incurred in the event of illness or accident of the person has the reservation or a death in the family.

Special feature of Privilège Hotels: Cancellation charge reimbur- sed if you book again! If you can present an invoice showing that a cancellation charge has been paid, we will reimburse you for that charge, subject to a handling fee of € 35 per booking, when you book another stay at the Hotel Castello di Villa within a year of the date of issue of the invoice for the cancellation charge, subject to the following conditions:

• the credit is personal (non-transferable) and can only be used for overnight accommodation (not for meals and/or other services).
• no refund can be claimed if the subsequent stay costs less, and the reimbursement cannot be spread between more than one stay.
  

Booking cancelled by Privilège Hotels

Sunstar Hotels reserves the right, in exceptional cases such as:

• the hotel becoming uninhabitable due to force majeure
• the hotel closing, or the opening dates changing,
  for economic or legal reasons

to declare a confirmed booking no longer valid, at no cost to Sunstar or the guest. Sunstar will endeavour to offer an alternative holiday of equal value (different hotel, different time of year).
